Belkin Unveils World’s First Qi2 25W Certified Wireless Charging Collection

Belkin has introduced a groundbreaking line of wireless charging products that are the first in the world to be certified for Qi2 25W charging. This new collection is designed to make it easier than ever to charge a variety of devices, including iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods. However, the benefits of this technology extend beyond just Apple products.

Google recently announced its latest Pixel 10 series, which marks the first major Android smartphones to feature built-in Qi2 technology. This means that these devices can now work with MagSafe accessories typically used for iPhones, opening up new possibilities for cross-platform compatibility.

The three new chargers from Belkin are compatible with a wide range of Apple handsets, from the iPhone 12 all the way up to the latest iPhone 16. It's worth noting that the iPhone 16e is not supported by these chargers.

The Belkin Ultracharge 3in1 and UltraCharge 3in1 Pro models allow users to simultaneously charge their iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Meanwhile, the Ultracharge 2in1 model can charge both a phone and AirPods at the same time.

Why This Matters

For years, Android phone owners have watched closely as iPhones offered features like MagSafe compatibility. While there have been some phone cases that attempt to replicate this functionality, the introduction of Qi2 on the Pixel 10 series is set to change the game.

Qi2 offers wireless charging speeds of up to 25W, which is significantly faster than the 15W maximum provided by the older Qi1 standard. As more phones adopt the Qi2 standard, we can expect to see a surge in the availability of charging accessories, mounts, and stands. This will enhance the versatility of our devices and provide more options for users.

Additionally, Qi2 adoption could make it easier for users to switch between different phone brands, as Qi2-compatible accessories may work across various manufacturers' devices.

What This Means for You

If you're an iPhone owner, you'll be able to charge your device more quickly using these new chargers. For those considering the Pixel 10 series, there are now even more Qi2 accessories available to choose from.

Belkin claims that its new chargers can charge an iPhone from 0% to 50% in just 29 minutes. The 3in1 Pro model can also charge an Apple Watch from 0% to 80% in the same amount of time.

On Google’s side, only the Pixel 10 Pro XL, which includes Qi2.2, supports 25W wireless charging. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold are limited to 15W.

What’s Next?

Belkin’s new lineup of chargers is now available for purchase. Here are the prices:

  • UltraCharge 3in1 Pro: $129.99
