The Radical AirFlow is designed with a focus on "radical cooling," a feature that gives the top its name. It incorporates cone-shaped airducts that enhance airflow and accelerate sweat evaporation. These strategically placed holes vary in size to optimize temperature management. Additionally, the interior side features dimples that further aid in cooling.

The technology behind the Radical AirFlow is rooted in scientific principles. The Bernoulli principle explains how air speed increases while pressure decreases, and the Venturi effect describes how fluid speed increases when moving through a narrower section of a pipe. Together, these concepts contribute to the top's ability to keep runners cool during intense races.

Western States was chosen as the debut race for the Radical AirFlow due to its notoriously hot conditions. Despite the heat, wearing the top actually makes runners feel cooler than they would without it. The top also absorbs and retains 50 percent less sweat compared to other tested garments, making it a game-changer for long-distance runners.

Nike ACG conducted 13 rounds of testing on the UltraFly, accumulating over 30,000 miles of running to ensure its reliability and performance.

Caleb Olson, who has been racing in the Nike ACG Ultrafly since early 2024, praised the shoe for its versatility. "It's been my go-to, do-it-all racing shoe. It can handle some of the most rugged terrain I've raced on at Transgrancanaria, as well as the singletrack at Western States. It's a great balance between all-day comfort and top-end performance that has helped put me on top of the podium at some of my biggest races."

If you're familiar with him, then the styling of this take on the Lander 2 makes perfect sense. It's rugged, yet refined — much like Siers.

No part of this knife represents that rugged refinement more than its handle. This version sees the scales replaced with machined burlap Micarta.

But it's not just the material, which is sophisticated, but still extremely durable; it's also in its machining pattern. There's a diamond at its center with chevrons spreading outward.

And it's not just a look; there's a texture to it. You can feel the ridges, which also serve to add plenty of grip. But the handle is just part of the story.

Upgrade complete

You're probably now wondering about the pointy end, right? That makes sense. Well, it's also as rugged and refined as the handle.

Measuring 3.25 inches, it is now made from S35VN steel - an old standard that's still among the most beloved blade materials. It also features a black acid-washed finish, adding some extra durability and style.

The blade also features the one part of the knife that isn't blacked out: the bronze thumb studs, which add a subtle stylistic pop and also serve as the primary deployment method.

The knife also has a Clutch Lock, the brand's take on the highly popular crossbar lock. And it has a reversible deep-carry pocket clip. It wouldn't be too much to call this one of the nicest knives Knafs has ever made (but it is a mouthful).

Doxais one of the most famous makers of dive watches in the world, and the most distinguishing feature of its watches is their brightly colored dials.

The original Doxa Sub 300 from the 1960s debuted with a brightorange "Professional" dial, with the idea that it would be more visible underwater. Unfortunately, orange is one of the first colors to disappear as you descend underwater, but the color stuck around anyway, and has since been joined by the similarly bright "Divingstar" yellow and"Aquamarine" turquoiseas the most recognizable shades in Doxa’s core collection of divers.

But how would a Doxa dive watch look with a dull-colored dial and some added texture? As it turns out, it's pretty spectacular, as the new Doxa Sub 200 Dune proves.

Sands of time

The new Doxa is a collaboration between the Swiss watchmaker and the St. Maarten-based retailer Art of Time. The idea behind the Dune was to capture the feeling of being on a Caribbean beach with the sand-inspired dial, and I'd say they've done just that.

The dial has an interestingSand-grain texture— nothing I haven't seen before, but I tend to like the style. And whilebrown dialsCan be tricky to pull off, Doxa did a nice job here by making the dial gradient. It's light in the center and darker on the edges, which makes the dial more vibrant and active to better represent the "windswept dunes under a tropical sun" look that Art of Time was aiming for.

Another smart move on this collab can be found in the model chosen. Rather than going for Doxa’s flagship Sub 300 or 300T, they went with the simplerUnder 200Skin diver. With its stripped-down layout, black ceramic bezel and classic retro vibes, the watch proves a perfect fit for the sandy dial. I especially like how the bronze color of the lumed fauxtina markers of the bezel complements the warm sandy tones of the dial.

The caseback also receives a special makeover here, with a blue map showcasing a map of the Caribbean, where St. Maarten is located. Doxa's fish logo appears prominently in the center of the ocean, which has been colored blue with laser-induced oxidation that won't fade over time. The pairing of sand on the front of the watch and sea on the back was a deliberate choice to tie the diver to Art of Time's island home.

Pricing and availability

Like other Sub 200 divers, the watch features 200m of water resistance, a sapphire crystal box, a 42mm stainless steel case, and a Sellita SW200 automatic movement inside. Unlike other Sub 200 divers, it is limited to just 100 pieces, making this quite a rare watch.

Even rarer is the process one has to go through to purchase one. The watch is priced at $2,090, which includes a beads of rice bracelet and a black rubber strap, and it's available exclusively through Art of Time — but you can't purchase one on the store's website. Instead, you have to email Art of Time at info@artoftimejewelers.com to register your interest and, potentially, reserve a Doxa Sub 200 Dune for yourself.
