Want to see more of the sites you love, specifically Freep.com? Google's newest feature allows you to as a "preferred sources" feature lets you customize your search experience to see more from your favorite sites.
Earlier this month the tech company announced they will let you "select your favorite sources and stay up to date on the latest content from the sites you follow and subscribe to — whether that's your favorite sports blog or a local news outlet."

Launched on Aug. 12, the feature allows you to curate, or filter, your news experience by source preference.
Every time you run a query or a keyword through the search engine, with, for example, Detroit Free Press as the preferred source, you'll only see the latest content about the topic from the Detroit Free Press. (The same applies to any other news site.)
According to Google, you can add, or change your preferred sources anytime.
"When you select your preferred sources, you'll start to see more of their articles prominently displayed within Top Stories, when those sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search," Google said.
How to add the Detroit Free Press
For readers who want to add the Free Press as a preferred source, you can eitheruse this shortcutor follow these steps:
- Search for a topic that's in the news and click on the icon to the right of "Top Stories"
- Search and select your "preferred sources," i.e., your go-to news organization/organizations
- Refresh your results and see more from your favorite sites
